GOOOOODDDDD MORNING!!!!!!

When the moon and the stars become invisible,

When the sun makes everything on earth visible,

When the long silence is broken by the chirping of birds,

And the chaos of the school going children,

roaming around, as sheep, in herds.

When yesterday's thoughts are wiped out as a plain slate,

and everything made ready for serving today's thoughts,

In the hungry mind's plate...

When snoring, stretched on their beds are the lazy some,

And going through his daily chores,

running late for work is the busy one....

When the sweet smell of the laid dust,

Mixes with with the aroma of the delicious breakfast....

When every human greets with respect the other,

As one should greet, without any differences, his brother,

Good morning they say and the best morning it becomes....

Let there be happiness and peace in every morning that comes...

POWER PLAY

Sometimes I am confused as to whether success is an essential element of life or the only element to achieve which is the only reason of living life. Also there is a growing chaotic confusion of thoughts in my mind regarding the meaning of success. Success for me has always been the highest positive emotion in human heart, after love that is. The idea of success has always assumed the form of the ability, passion and perseverance to make possible things that seem impossible, notwithstanding any sort of negative barriers. The concept of success has always been the other name for the belief in oneself and in the notions one holds in ones mind. But nowadays success has taken the shape of a ladder on which only a lucky few are allowed to ascend. These lucky few have a certain set of qualities which has nothing to do with the traditional and original concept of success as defined by successful people themselves. The prerequisites to success are as follows:--

  1. One should be able to deceive even even the closest of persons who trust him beyond his life, when it comes to limited opportunities and competition.

  1. One should be able to forget all human values and emotional bonding when it comes to self-good and self-gratification. Selfless love and selfless service no more form a part of the path to success.

  1. One should have the great skill to transform friends into enemies and vice-versa and the ability to transform ones emotions regarding people close to him without any consideration to the previous relations shared with him.

  1. One should be able to manipulate his luck to suit his needs and wants. Luck By Chance is the new definition of adjustment. People now do not adjust with the condition and compromise in life. They adjust the condition itself to suit their life.

We blame the politicians nowadays for being unfaithful not only to the public but also to the political parties for which they work. We say that politics is a great power game. But in my opinion, we have made our routine life itself a power game. Let us consider a small and many a times neglected power game venue. Its college. Any college claiming to impart quality education in their students itself is unaware of the fact that a great sphere of power politics is created amongst the future leaders. I am not relating all this to the political games played during the university elections or the gang wars, instead I am referring to the following incident that made me rethink of the term called power play.....

Two good friends of mine, both great dancers, but with conflicting interests, used to hate each other. They couldn't get along even in the situations of utmost necessity. Owing to the amount of hatred between them I would not hesitate to say that if necessary they would have also killed each other to clear their paths to success. It so happened one day that both of the groups they were working with fell apart due to some internal conflicts. Some of the members of both the rival groups decided to form an altogether new group. Both the girls were invited to join in the new group. I believed that as the two were such staunch enemies, either they would not join the group or if they join, the group would not last for long. But i was bewildered and shocked to see both of the girls behaving not just in a friendly manner but in a sisterly manner. By their current behaviour people would not believe me that they were enemies once. It seemed as if the two were good friends since a long time. All during the rehearsals I couldn't believe that the two were so good to each other. It was only when i had a dialogue with both of them separately that i came to know the inside story. Both of them told me that they still hated each other and they always will. But now what mattered to them was their success in their dance careers, and to achieve their goals each had to be sober and friendly with the other though they both had the knowledge of the immense hatred the each carried for the other.

That was when i understood that its only success that can bring people together and not love as it is popularly upheld.

The Old Man Who Waits

My last breath will wait for you oh my dear,

You will return I believe, I have no fear.

To hear from me you will somehow sneak up,

Through your soothing words you will then speak up.

At least a call you will make,

to put me to sleep as I am for long awake.

You do not care any more, the children do say,

They would never understand you,

To my greatest dismay.

I will wait as long as it will take you,

To get your other commitments through.

Death can not touch me till I see you.

The last sight that I want to see,

Is that of the beautiful black eyes of thee.

The last emotion I want to feel,

Is the boundless love between you and me.

The last smell that I want to sense,

Is of you silky brown hair,

bouncing as you walk in a unique flair.

Your smile will soothe all my pain,

Your tears will wash out the negative drain.

Ready to die then I will be,

With the love of my life beside me.

A last touch is what I am craving for,

Your arrival is what I am waiting for.

My last breath will wait to cease,

When you will be there, I will die at ease.

No more the pain can I now bear,

But I know you will soon be there.

I will wait for you longing my dear,

You will certainly return I have no fear.
